Tuesday’s Top Line Moves

For the most part, NBA bettors are in accordance with the oddsmakers with the largest deviation written about below. In the college ranks, there is couple more discrepancies with Valpariaso down 1.5-points to -11 and the Kansas State and Missouri total has sunk from 140.5 to 138.  Always review the tasty trend nuggets at the bottom of the page.

NBA – (709) SAN ANTONIO at (710) PORTLAND 10:05 EST NBA-TV

San Antonio will attempt to take their winning streak to an even dozen in a place they have not enjoyed any success of late. The Spurs have lost six straight in the Northwest (1-5 ATS) and if they are going to end this streak, bettors are thinking they will have to outscore Portland. The total has been lifted from 188.5 to 190, with San Antonio 21-8 OVER as a road underdog over the last two seasons. In this Missouri Valley Conference matchup, a couple of key reasons supports why basketball bettors have taken Creighton from -12 to -10. The Islanders played like dead men skating in being ousted by Ottawa 6-0 yesterday and hockey bettors are not sure New York will shake their lethargy. “This was very disappointing. President’s Day Line Moves

Not much noise on the wagering front on President’s Day. Here are the main Line Moves for today. Always review the tasty trend nuggets at the bottom of the page.

NBA – (507) ORLANDO at (508) MILWAUKEE 8:05 EST SUN, FSWI

Orlando saw their four-game winning streak come to a crashing halt yesterday, as a combination of Miami defense and bad shooting left the Magic with a 36.5 percent shooting day. It was the first time Orlando had shot under 40 percent in 11 games and they have will have quick turnaround playing Milwaukee tonight, their third meeting in 10 days. The Bucks shooting has been like a typical President’s Day in Milwaukee, chilly, having not made over 42 percent of attempts in six games. This has led basketball bettors to take the total from 188 to 186. However, it should be known the Bucks are 8-0 OVER at home against a team with a winning record and as a home underdog this season. 3DW Position – Play Over

NBA – (517) WASHINGTON at (518) PHOENIX  9:05 EST CSW, FSAZ

Those betting on betting basketball have vehemently disagreed with the oddsmakers in this desert setting. Toss out the Detroit game on Feb. 12 where the Pistons managed to score just 77 points against Washington and you find the Wizards have allowed an average 107.2 PPG in there other last nine contests. Phoenix got a strong showing last night in a rivalry game with the Lakers, permitting only 90 points, but in their four prior contests the Suns had been burned for 105.7 PPG. With two defenses trending badly, is it any wonder the total jumped from 198.5 to 203? As disappointing as both of these Big East teams have been since the first of the year, Connecticut is getting the nod based on talent and the fact Villanova is likely to be without its starting backcourt of Maalik Wayns and James Bell. The Huskies began the day at -1 and shot up like Jeremy Lin’s popularity rating to -3.
